StatiqCooler heat exchanger
Below you can read a short explanation of how the StatiqCooler works:
Warm air (primary air) flows through air ducts in the StatiqCooler. These ducts have a hygroscopic (water-attracting) layer on the outside, which is kept moist.
Meanwhile, a second air stream (process air) flows outside the air ducts in the opposite direction. This second air stream evaporates the moisture from the hydrophilic layer.
Through this evaporation process, the primary air is cooled. The humidified process air is discharged to the outside in order to prevent damp/moisture from entering the cooled primary air.
The primary air then cools the data center.
